The Impact of the Graffiti in the Society.

Acording to what I see in some images and some countries, i consider that the graffiti's have a true role in the society, not only as an art role such as nice paintings or style letters, but as an opinion role, ¿What do people think about some important topic?, the artists (because they are) use this tool to communicate some ideas that the people have of something, like the politics, the religion, the war or the peace, etc. So in my judgement, Argentina have the best graffitis in their walls and the best way of use them as a communication tool, they are free not just to paint, but to express.

My Response to the racism against Afro-Colombian People

Colombia is a country that has unfortunately gone through many stages in its history , however these stages are several cracks that slowly threaten to bring down the nation-building through their social , economic and ecological areas , in this case, Afro descendant population has undergone over the years and -to put it the chronological way- centuries, a misnamed racism, yes it seeks to affect it from its social moral decay to make searches in the economic sphere , since it is clear the figures shown in the videos on how today 's situation, for us might be bad but they do seem worse, and emphasize how sad it is to know as you are not penalized in the Code of Criminal Procedure this behavior racist, but is only " repudiated " the fundamental rights of the standard.

Blog Post #1: Read about “Bangkok’s ‘Mexican’ Gangsters”, post your response, & comment on
another student’s Blog Post.

Questions:
(1) How are Thai gangsters an example of cultural appropriation of another subculture?

(2) What do we learn about Thai and Mexican subcultures from this article & video within the article?

Answers:

(1) The Bangkok’s Mexican Gangsters are an example of cultural appropriation of another subculture, because they use Mexican Cholo’s  stuff without knowing the real meaning, they don’t know how hard, violent, corrupt, and dangerous that is the Cholo’s Life, just because the clothes and the rings and other jewelry are “cool”, they decide to use it, and according to what the interview says “the Thai obsession with these groups is simply an appreciation of their aesthetic.”, and of course the style is a little weird but what matters is the Cholo attitude that they don’t  have, and what impressed me is the wife of a member inside the gang, that authorize him to do things like putting a tattoo in his body, or like the way they use to express their toughness, for example the member of One Pain Balcony gang rapped his original song called “Fuck the Popo”, so I start to think a rap battle between “The Thai Mexican Gangsters” and “The Wachiturros”, that will make me laugh for a hundred years!

(2) We do have to be careful of what we are using, and we must know, because some things have a cultural meaning that we don’t know, and some people know, and they will judge us for the meaning of our stuff and don’t for how cool is, so my invitation could be to think before wear, and if we know what we are using, the more you know, the better you will discuss about, and remember to practice the meaning you decide to wear and not just learn, you can't know that you are supporting the Che Guevara ideals and in your other side, you begin to support capitalism ideals by buying everything you want.

Do you know me? Do you know something about Culture?

Hello, reader.

Before you start to know me, i want to tell you something about Culture. The ideas, traditions and customs, are the seed from the past, in a land from the present, they are which in the death, still being life, they represent the knowledge that we don't have to remember, because it flows spontaneously.

My name is Rafael Perez Campanella and I'm sixteen, i study the first semester of law at the Universidad del Norte, I decided to write because it's one of the few ways that can capture your most brilliant thoughts, sometimes my mind becomes a volcano that erupts with ideas and it's a pleasure to have this tool to express them.

"After all, a culture is the set of stories that gives cohesion to a society. Among them there are the stories about the origins of themselves, that is, the biography of a society that tells you what it is. "

Dietrich Schwanitz
Culture. Everything you need to know

Thank for reading this, have a great day!
